I will talk with you about the word monotheism, the word on which the heavens and the earth were built, and for its sake God created the creation and sent the prophets and messengers, peace be upon them. We will tell you about the meaning of the testimony that Muhammad is the Messenger of God

Meaning there is no god but God


Meaning: There is no true worship but God

Testimony that there is no god but God, including denial and proof:
Denies all kinds of worship other than God Almighty
All kinds of worship prove to God alone, with no partner

It is the difference between disbelief and Islam, and it is the word for piety, and it is the most trustworthy link, and it is what Abraham, peace be upon him, made a word remaining in his heels, so that they might return [Al-Zukhruf: 28]

The meaning of it is not to say it in the tongue with ignorance of its meaning and abandoning action according to it, for the hypocrites say it while they are under the infidels in the lower grasp of Hell, even though they pray, fast and give alms.

Rather, it will benefit by meeting conditions:
▪️ Who knew its meaning?
▪️ and acted accordingly
He achieved knowledge, action and belief with it, as he adhered to Islam in which God Almighty said:
“Islam is the religion with God.” [Al-Imran: 19]
He said: “Whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him, and he is among the losers in the Hereafter.”
[Al-Imran: 85]

And in the Sahih on the authority of Abu Hurairah on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: “The happiest people through my intercession are those who say there is no god but God purely from their heart and soul.”

▪️ It was said to Hasan al-Basri: People say: Whoever says there is no god but God will enter Heaven? He said, "Whoever says there is no god but God, then fulfills its rights, and enforces it, he will enter Heaven."

Conditions: There is no god but God:
Knowledge that precludes ignorance
Sincerity contrary to polytheism
Honesty precludes lying
Certainty beyond doubt
Love is the opposite of hatred
- The negative acceptance of the response
- Submission contrary to abandonment

* Meaning I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God


It means: believing in what he was told and obeying what he commanded
The requirements of this testimony and its duties:

Believe it
The Almighty said: “And the one who came with truthfulness and believed in it are the righteous ones ﴾[Az-Zumar: 33]

▪️ obey him
The Almighty said: “We were not sent by a messenger except to be obeyed with the permission of God.” [An-Nisa: 64]

Revered it
The Almighty said: “Do you believe in God and His Messenger, and honor him and respect him”
[Al-Fath: 9]

His loyalty
The Almighty said: “Whoever is entrusted by God and His Messenger, and those who believe, then the party of God is the victors.” [Al-Ma'idah: 56]

His victory
The Almighty said: “So those who have believed in him, praised him, supported him, and followed the light that was brought down with him are those who are successful.” [Al-A'raf: 157]

Arbitration
The Almighty said: “So do not, and your Lord, not believe until they judge you as they are fought between them, and then they will not find in themselves any embarrassment from what you have decided and greet the women in peace.”

Follow it up
He says: Say: O people, I am the Messenger of Allah to you all who has the king of the heavens and the earth there is no god but He gives life and causes death, believe in Allah and His Messenger, the illiterate Prophet who believes in God and his words and followed him, that ye may Thtdon( [custom: 158]

His love
Almighty: Say: If your fathers, your sons and your brothers and your wives and Ashertkm Aqtervtamoha funds and trade concerned about the depressed housing Tradwnha I love you from Allah and His Messenger and Jihad in the process said Fterbesoa until God brings His command and Allah does not guide the people Alvasagan( [repentance: 24]

Pray for him
The Almighty said: “Indeed, God and His angels pray on the Prophet, O you who believe, pray on him and greet Him in peace.” [Al-Ahzab: 56]
