The Story of Yunus

        Peace, mercy and blessings of God

In this article, I will talk about the story of one of the prophets, namely the Prophet of God Yunus, peace be upon him

Prophet Yunus, peace be upon him

First: a brief summary
 From the Prophet Yunus, peace be upon him

❖1-God sent the Prophet Yunus

 To the people of Nineveh in Iraq

❖2-So he called them to worship God

Alone

3 - But his people are proud and arrogant

He left them and promised them torment after

 Three nights

❖4-They feared themselves, and believed

 So God raised the torment from them,

❖5 - As for Prophet Yunus, he went out in

Ship and were about to sink

❖6-Then vote to determine who

 He will be met by the men, and he fell three

On the Prophet Yunus, peace be upon him

7 - Prophet Yunus threw himself

 In the sea, the whale swallowed it

8-God revealed to the Pisces that

Prophet Yunus, peace be upon him, does not eat

9 - The Prophet praised his Lord and mentioned that he was

Of the oppressors and called his Lord to get him out

From the darkness God answered him

Call of the Prophet Yunus, peace be upon him

❖10 - Yunus Bin Matta was a prophet

Generous God sent to his people, so he went

He exhorts, advises, and guides them to

 The good,

❖11- The Prophet Yunus mentioned them on a day

Resurrection, their fear of fire, and their love

To Heaven, and invited them to worship God

 Alone.

❖12 - The shadow of Yunus, peace be upon him

He advised his people but did not believe in them

One.

❖13 - A day has come for Prophet Yunus

He felt despair from his people and was filled

His heart angered them because they didn't

 Believe

❖14-Dhu al-Nun was angry

He decided to leave them and promised them solutions

Their torment after three days.

❖15 - The Qur’an does not mention where he was

Yunus, but understandably they are

They were in a spot near the sea.

❖16 - The people of interpretation said: He was resurrected

God Yunus, peace be upon him, to the people

(Nineveh) from the land of Mosul.

❖17 - Anger led him to a beach

The sea is where he boarded a charged ship

 

❖18 - The divine command had not

It was issued to the Prophet Yunus to leave his people

 Or give up on them.

❖19-When Dhu Al-Noon left from

His village, and the people of the village made sure of descent

Their torment

❖20 - God threw into their hearts

Repentance and representation and regret it

They were not from their Prophet and cried out

And they prayed to God Almighty,

❖21 - Men and women cried

 And boys, girls and mothers.

❖22 - and they were one hundred thousand more

 They do not diminish, and they all believed.

 

❖23 - God Almighty revealed about it

And his strength, compassion and mercy on them

The torment they deserved by denying them.

Third: Ship command:

❖24 - As for the ship he boarded

Yunus, the sea was roared, and rose

 The waves around it.

❖25 - This was a sign of the people

That among the passengers was an angry passenger

On him because he committed a sin.

❖26 - and it has to be thrown in

Water to save the ship from sinking.

❖27 - Then vote on whom to cast

From the ship, Jonah's arrow came out

 And he was known to them for good

❖28 - They returned the lot, and he went out

His arrow again, and they brought it back a third,

But his arrow definitely went out

They threw him into the sea - or he cast him

Himself.

❖29 - The whale swallowed it because it gave up

On the mission that God sent him,

And he left his people angry before he gave permission

God has him.

❖30 - And God revealed to the whale that it would not

Yunus scratches flesh and does not break

His bones.

❖31 - and the commentators disagreed

How long Jonas stayed in the belly of the whale,

❖32 - Some of them said that the whale

Make it at the forenoon, and take it out

At dinner.

❖33 - Some of them said that he was broadcasting

On his stomach for three days,

❖34 - and some of them said seven.

Fourth: Yunus in the stomach
 Whale

❖35 - When the Prophet Yunus felt the way

 Upset in the belly of a whale, at

 The darkness

Dark Whale

-The dark sea,

- The darkness of the night

❖36 - Praise God and seek His forgiveness

He mentioned that he was wrongdoers.

❖37 He said: (There is no deity but You are glorified.

I was one of the wrongdoers.)

❖38- Then God heard his prayer

 And he answered him, and the whale spelled him out.

❖39 (If it were not for the two swimming pools

 To infuse in his stomach until the day of resurrection).

❖40 - He came out from the belly of the whale

Sick, naked on the beach.

And God made the gourd tree grow on him.

❖41 - Some scholars have said on germination

Pumpkin on the Prophet Yunus is a great wisdom.

❖42-of them that his paper is in the end

Softness and abundance and shade not close to him

 Flies,

 

❖43- And its fruit is eaten from the first

Rising to the end intentionally and cooked,

And with its peel and seed too.

❖44 - This was God's plan

 And his kindness.

❖45-And it has much benefit and strengthening

 For the brain and more.

❖46 - When he completed his recovery, he responded

God to his people who left angry

Fifthly: Fadl Younes peace be upon him:

47- There have been many hadiths

On the merit of Yunus, peace be upon him,

Including the saying of the Prophet ﷺ:

 

❖48- “A slave shouldn't say

I am better than ‌ Yunus Bin Matta.

❖49 And his saying, may blessings and peace be upon him:

 “Whoever said I am better than Yunus Bin

 When did he lied. "

Sixth and finally:
The sin of Yunus, peace be upon him:

❖50 - Now we want to look at what

 Scientists call it the sin of Jonah.

❖51 Did Yunus commit a sin?

In the true sense of guilt

Do the prophets sin?

❖52 - The answer is that of the prophets

Infallible is that this infallibility

It doesn't mean they don't do anything,

God has things that require

Admonition, the matter is relative then

❖53 - Those who know God say:

The good deeds of the righteous are bad

Close and true.

❖54 - Let's look at Yunus’s escape

 From his ungrateful, stubborn village.

❖55 - If this behavior was issued from

Any good person other than Jonah would have been

That is a good deed to be rewarded, it is

 His religion has fled from a people of criminals.

❖56 - But Yunus Nabi sent him

God is to them, and he is supposed to report

God does not care about the end of reporting or wait

 The results of the call, it is only the communication

❖57 - He left the village then.

In the balance of the prophets, something deserves

God Almighty teach him and his punishment.

❖58-God teaches Jonah a lesson

❖61 - They believed in him after his release

❖62 - but he was hasty

This speed is only a flood

In his desire for people to believe,

❖63 - but rather rushed out

Hate them for their unbelief, so punish him

God and his knowledge that the Prophet should pray

Only God, and God guides whom He wills
